Executive Director Virgin Hyperloop One Rob Lloyd confirmed that the company expects to begin construction on the first pipe up to 2020 reported by Futurism.
Work is supposed to begin in 2021, and a test-ride to make in 2021
The company has not decided where it will build first Hyperloop. Among the options being discussed: United States, Mexico, Northern Europe and UAE.

Lloyd said that travel in the Hyperloop will not be very expensive. Presumably, a trip to a distance of 50-60 km may cost $5.
