Seriously, I learned to cook by watching Mama.
Mama NEVER used recipes; the ingredients and directions were all in her head.
Everything was by heart.
Or, better yet, soul!
And now, here I am, many years later, cooking the same meals that I remember–straight from Mama’s kitchen.
