Glacier Point – Yosemite National Park

Grumpy Railroad

One of the things that I love about where I live is how close (relatively) I am to so many amazing places.   When we moved to Lemoore, CA 15 years ago, it drove me NUTS when people would say (and they said it a lot) that we are only 2 1/2 hours away from everything.  I always felt, when I was in San Jose I had all I wanted.  Well 15 years later I do not miss San Jose as much, and I LOVE the fact that these amazing National Parks are a short drive away.

Last night after work, I grabbed my camera bag and headed up to Glacier Point. I spent a couple of hours up at Glacier Point,  then slowly made my way home,  making a few stops in between.   I hope you enjoy the photos!  DSC_4794DSC_4816DSC_4834DSC_4844-HDRDSC_4855DSC_4889

Crumpled Ribbons By Joel F

Joys of Joel

poem about gratitude, joys of joel poems, crumpled ribbons, rhyming poem Crumpled Ribbons –

Crumpled or wrinkled
that’s how you made me feel

When i stumble and been humbled
by the lessons of your will.

Rainbows and roses
wisdom and its thorn

Poetry and proses
i can write after the storm.

Pretty laces or crumpled ribbons
tied to a bow of hopeful reasons

Now i’m grateful and feel blissful
The gift of life in changing seasons.

He: So I am just another guy from your college, huh.

She: Yup, you think you are special

(They both laughed. He points towards the friend)

He: Okay, you both look like good friends!

She: Yeah, she is a good friend of mine. We both did our MBA together and got placed in Ignited minds. She is more into business analysis and I got into what I always wanted. Human Resource.

He: Yeah, you always wanted to interact with Humans and break their heart. I have experienced that before.

(They both laughed.)

He: By the way, from where did you do your MBA? Did you get into IIM after…
