Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton today. Nearly every story on this event contains the word “finally”, but that is not entirely justified. This is a process, not an event. Today’s message was dragged out until Sanders could get every concession to his movement that he could, and for good reason. That is primarily what Sanders was in this for all along – real, progressive change.

Now, it’s up to Sanders and Clinton to sell it.  The process is not over.

Restaurant Week Picks Summer 2016: Gotta Catch ’em All

Yes, I’m capitalizing on the Pokémon GO trend right now. But I’m also giving you my top restaurant picks for NYC Restaurant Week. These are the worthy places to go that I’ve personally tried  – otherwise you can really get stuck with a bummer restaurant. For me, a bummer is a place that is really normal. Maybe the food is good, but it’s just TOO NORMAL. My picks will give you a memorable experience – food & atmosphere included. Plus you’ll look really cool recommending them to friends.

The Cecil

M-F dinner

I went here a few years ago after they were named the top restaurant in New York. Then I kept going back. The food is an Afro-American-Asian fusion – which is something you haven’t tried before. Guaranteed. Try the oxtail dumplings, they are bomb.
