Shell Houston Open: J.B. Holmes Takes Playoff

In the final round of the 2015 Shell Houston Open, J.B. Holmes emerges the victor after two playoff holes to collect his fourth PGA Tour win.

Another playoff at the Shell Houston Open. J. B. Holmes, Johnson Wagner and Jordan Spieth all finished regulation at 16-under-par 272 on the Tournament Course at the Golf Club of Houston. However, Holmes emerged as the victor on the second hole of sudden-death. Holmes defeated Wagner, the 2008 SHO winner, with a par-4. Spieth was eliminated with a bogey-5 on the first extra hole. This was the 23rd playoff in Shell Houston Open history. Only the U.S. Open with 33 playoffs has had more.
