The Utica Comets will host their home-opener Wednesday, Oct. 22, and the game will be the start of a weekend of hockey at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
The Comets, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, also play at home on Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25.
“We’ll make it a big deal, for sure,” Comets Director of Communications Mark Caswell Jr. said. “Definitely keep an eye out. It’s a big night for us and the community.”
The Comets first game of the season will be announced when the AHL releases its schedule next month. The AHL opens its season Oct. 10.
Tickets for the opening weekend and regular-season games go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6. Season Tickets range from $425 to $796.
